Creepy Cleveland,
I recently graduated from the North Carolina School of the Arts School of Filmmaking. For my senior cinematography thesis I used the Melonheads as my subject. The thesis was on stop-motion effects. It is very reminiscent of the animated meltdown sequence from EVIL DEAD. Tom Sullivan, the make-up effects artist on EVIL DEAD 1 & 2 helped me out, giving me advice and encouragement over phone conversations and email.
I’m originally from Painesville, OH, a neighboring city of Mentor and Kirtland, all in Lake County. I’m working on a feature involving various Kirtland lore, which I think will stand out from the current Melonhead productions.
